20+ Years in the Pool Industry
San Diego Pool Tile Cleaning has restored pool tile, coping and natural stone across San Diego County since 2012. Tile and stone restoration is the specialty we built the company around.
Specializing pays off in the details. Because restoration is the work we take on every day, the crew at your pool is doing the same job they did yesterday, not one squeezed between filter changes and chemical runs.
Our Specialization
Pool tile is easy to damage and hard to fix. The two fastest cleaning methods are also the two that cause permanent harm.
Both are common across the industry because they are quick. We use media blasting instead, which lifts calcium off the surface physically, with no chemicals and no scraping.
Every one needs a different setting on the same equipment.
The least forgiving surface we clean. Finest media, lowest pressure, so it cannot scratch or haze.
Cut stone, flagstone, and stacked stone. The gentlest pass, matched to how porous the stone is.
Textured patterns and grout lines trap calcium. We match the setting to the glaze and clean both.
Every Condition, Since 2012
Cleaning tile and stone since 2012 means very few pools surprise us. We have cleaned light seasonal buildup on two-year-old glass, and original tile on 1970s pools nobody had touched in a decade.
We will also tell you when tile has been etched or scratched beyond what cleaning can reverse. See the before-and-after gallery for what each surface looks like when we are finished.
San Diego Water
San Diego County water runs hard, typically between 200 and 400 ppm of calcium carbonate. Every time the water level moves, it leaves a trace of that mineral behind on the tile.
Sun and heat accelerate it. Inland communities where summer temperatures regularly exceed 90°F build scale faster than coastal pools, and coastal pools deal with salt air on top of the calcium.
We hold California Contractor's License CA CSL #975033 and carry full liability insurance. Proof of either is available on request.
Who We Work With
We work with four kinds of customer, and the method does not change between them.
What changes is the scheduling and the paperwork. Larger properties get written documentation and a recurring schedule.
Restoration, Not Weekly Service
No. We are a tile and stone restoration company, so chemical balancing, pump repair and weekly service are not ours. If that is what you need, a full-service pool company is the better fit and we are glad to point you toward one.
Call us when the surface itself is the problem. A white or gray band along the waterline, stone that has lost its color, or grout that stays dingy after brushing are all restoration jobs, and restoration is what we are built for.
San Diego Pool Tile Cleaning has earned more than 105 reviews from customers across San Diego County. None of them were paid for, and none have been removed.
I can’t say enough good things about this company. Their service is top notch. The pool looked so unsightly with all the white calcium…
They did a good job…. professional…. showed up on time….did a good job of removing 95% of the Calcium buildup and cleaned up all the mess.…
Smooth from start to finish… Set-up the date, they let me know what to expect and what to do for their arrival. Communication was great with them…Very happy with how it turned out! Glass tile, salt water pool
